Export Controls and Economic Sanctions
Trina Solar is committed to complying with all relevant laws and regulations in the countries where it operates and does business, including compliance with economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations. Trina Solar requires that it not do business with any party located in, or whose headquarters are located, registered or has its place of business in a country or region subject to US sanctions (including Russia, Iran, Sudan, Syria, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela, etc.).
Trina Solar requires that it will not directly or indirectly conduct business with these countries or regions even if the transaction does not involve items subject to the EAR. Violations of export control and economic sanctions laws and regulations may result in serious legal consequences for the company or other entities and responsible persons. These consequences include, but are not limited to, fines, trade restrictions, criminal prosecution, and imprisonment. Trina Solar is committed to complying with all applicable export control and economic sanctions laws and regulations worldwide, and will also take measures to ensure that it complies with all laws and regulations related to the export, re-export and transfer (in-country) of products.
