MA/Trina Solar brings sunshine to Australian children with Vertex S+ modules

Trina Solar has supplied a children’s and community center in the Australian city of Melbourne with its Vertex S+ modules, making yet another significant contribution to sustainable development with clean energy. Total installed capacity of the project is 35.1kW, using Trina Solar’s Vertex S+ modules. Once connected to the grid, it will generate 40,065.91kWh and cut CO<sub>2</sub>&nbsp;emissions by 33.58 tonnes a year.</p>

The construction of a demonstration photovoltaic power plant project with modules provided by Trina Solar has been completed at the Yangtze River Delta Institute for Sustainable Development in Shanghai. The plant, with total installed capacity of 26.66 kW, is forecast to generate 26,853 kWh and reduce CO₂&nbsp;emissions by 22.5 tonnes a year.</p>

Trina Solar has won the 2024 German Design Award for its Vertex S <em>n-</em>type dual-glass rooftop PV module series in the ‘Excellent Product Design’ category.</p>

<p>
The German Design Award, founded by the German Design Council in 1953, is one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. Only works that have passed the review or recommendation of the German Design Committee can be nominated, and most of the nominated works are international design award-winning designs, also known as “winners among winners”.</p>

Trina Solar has reported revenue of $11.58 billion (RMB 81.12 billion) in the first three quarters of 2023, 31.22 percent more than in the corresponding period last year. The company’s report, made public on October 27, also showed that Trina Solar, continues to lead the industry with 45-46GW modules shipments,&nbsp;ranking second globally, and 5.6GW trackers and fixed tilt racks deliveries for the first three quarters.</p>

The first Vertex N 610W module and <em>n-</em>type i-TOPCon cell made at Trina Solar’s plant in Huai’an rolled off production line, marking the mass production of the 10GW <em>n-</em>type i-TOPCon cell capacity and 10GW Vertex N 610W&nbsp;capacity. The Huai’an plant, in Jiangsu province, has thus achieved full-scale phase II production as Trina Solar continues to ramp up mass production of <em>n-</em>type modules.</p>
